Summary

Competitive gaming produces real injuries. Wrist strain, forearm tension, neck and shoulder load, hours held in one position at high intensity. The products that treat those conditions, kinesiology tape and CBD topicals, are branded for a different customer entirely, all clinical whites and pharmacy blues aimed at someone recovering from a marathon. Summa Forte was built to close that gap. The identity centres on a mark drawn from converging arrows, four vectors meeting at a point, reading as both a directional push and a body under load. The palette is deliberately screen-native, electric blue and hot orange against black, colours that belong to an RGB keyboard and a stream overlay rather than a physiotherapy clinic. Packaging carries a fractured pattern system derived from the mark, applied across the CBD bottle and the SummaTape range so the products hold together as a family without either one softening into medical territory. The campaign line, taking you to the next level, works in both registers at once: competitive progression and physical recovery, which is the entire brand argument in five words.

Frequently asked questions

Darwin Corp created the complete brand identity for Summa Forte, including logo, colour system, typography and pattern language, alongside packaging design for the CBD and SummaTape product lines, stationery, out-of-home and poster campaign design, and social media art direction.

Summa Forte is a performance recovery brand built for esports athletes and gamers, offering CBD-based products and kinesiology tape designed for the specific physical strain of competitive gaming, including wrist, forearm, neck and shoulder load.

Because the injuries are real but the category is invisible. Professional and semi-professional gamers train for the same hours as traditional athletes and develop repetitive strain conditions accordingly, yet recovery products are branded for runners, gym users and older consumers, which leaves a competitive audience with no product that speaks to them.

By taking cues from the audience rather than the category. Summa Forte borrows its visual language from gaming hardware and stream culture, using saturated RGB-adjacent colour, black-dominant layouts and angular geometry, so the product signals performance rather than treatment while still holding the clarity a health product requires.
